Hygiene
We at Fantasia Face Painting are dedicated to provide the most hygienic service possible. We use a clean sponge for each and every face. We do however appreciate being presented with clean faces to be painted.
Professional Body Paint
Fantasia Face Painting painters use only the highest quality, imported, professional products ( face paint & glitter ), which are designed for use on the skin. Our paints are hypoallergenic and comply with EU cosmetic directives.
However, this does not preclude an allergic reaction and Fantasia Face Painting will not be liable for allergic reaction to paints.
If your child has a very sensitive skin, or is allergic to a range of common products, please discuss this before the child is painted. To be on the safe side, it is always possible to carry out a patch test, or to paint a small design on the hand where the skin is less sensitive.
Equipment
Please don't allow the children to touch or play with the paints and equipment. For safety reasons, children (and adults) are not permitted to play in the face painter's work area and the face painter will not be liable for any damage or injuries should this occur.
Parents are responsible for their children at all times!!!
Who can be painted?
Fantasia Face Painting do not recommend children under 3 years old to be face painted. If a child is reluctant to have his or her face painted, the painter will not comply with the wishes of the parents over the desire of the child! Young children don't always understand face painting - someone they don't know is doing something to them, which they cannot see - so a small design on the hand may be more enjoyable for them.
They can see what is being done, feel in control of the situation, and can look and enjoy it for the rest of the day.
Fantasia Face Painting painters will not paint anyone in the opinion of the painter, who suffers from cold sores, conjunctivitis or any other skin infections. Similarly, eczema, open cuts and grazes are not suitable surfaces to paint. We are unable to paint anyone suffering with cold/flu symptoms.
